What materials are used in your products?
Most of our hardware — switchtips, knobs, control plates, neck plates and bridges — is made from raw brass, left unlacquered so it darkens and takes on a patina with handling. The shop also carries picks, wax and cloth goods, and every product page lists the materials for that particular piece. If you need a detail we haven't covered, email info@ragamuffinstudios.com before you order.
Do you offer custom or personalized orders?
Yes. Alongside the parts in the shop we take on custom build work, and you'll find a standard build deposit listed under Builds to get a commission started. Every build is different, so the best first step is to email info@ragamuffinstudios.com with what you have in mind — we'll talk through the specification and the cost with you before anything is committed.
How can I track my order?
You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed. You can also check on it any time by signing in and opening the Orders section of your account. If an order isn't showing up, or something doesn't look right, email info@ragamuffinstudios.com and we'll look it up for you.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
Email info@ragamuffinstudios.com as soon as you notice, and include your order number along with a few photos of both the item and the packaging it arrived in — the packaging often shows what happened in transit. We'll come back to you and sort out the best way to put it right.
